Day 1: The Price of Natural Capital

 

Topic : The worth of Nature versus the value; Optimal Land use; Problems with the Planning system; Waste disposal and the circular economy.

Concert : Streamed rock concert featuring Belle Roscoe playing Bad Moon Rising and their own compositions. Buy tickets now.

Speaker : Dr Robin Russell-Jones, organiser of the Mayday C4 events. Dr Taina Strike (BVSc MSc (Wild Animal Health) DipECZM (ZHM) MRCVS European Veterinary Specialist in Zoological Medicine (Zoo Health Management) EAZWV Chair Ethics and Welfare Working group Zoo Veterinary Officer) will talk about ZSL's veterinary involvement in conservation and bringing species back from the brink of extinction. Day 2: Scientific Overview & Carbon Footprints

Topic : AM Scientific Overview - Balancing Sources and Sinks (Prof Tom Wigley) Sources of methane (Dr Hinrich Schaefer) Sea Level Rises (Prof Philip Woodworth).

PM Carbon Footprints; National and Individual - Consumption-based versus production-based emissions. What Choices do we have? (Clare Farrell; Co-Founder Extinction Rebellion).

Concert : Streamed Jazz concert featuring Tim Garland, Natalie Williams, Yazz Ahmed and Jason Rebello at the Oak Gable Studio. Buy tickets now.

Speaker : Speaker 1- Robin Russell-Jones, organiser of Mayday C4 events. Speaker 2 - Tai Strike, Zoo veterinary officer will talk about her work in international conservation. Donations to ZSL.

Day 3: Economics of climate change​

Topic : False Economic models (Prof Steve Keen);  Circular business models (Hugo Spowers CEO Riversimple); The Global Carbon Incentive Fund (Prof Rajan Raghuram); A Global Carbon Coalition (Titus Alexander FRSA).
